Association “ZENA BiH” ("B&H WOMAN") Mostar is a local nongovernmental organization founded on October 24, 1994 in Mostar, Bosnia and Herzegovina. The mission of the organization is to help women – domicile, displaced, returnees regardless of their nationality, economic or social status. “ZENA BiH” promotes and establishes the women human rights, advocates for economic independence and self – confidence and inclusion of women in all spheres of life.
“ZENA BIH” also promotes NGO sector as an important factor in building the civil society. For 22 years we have been following the vision of „ZENA BIH“, which is: Full affirmation of the women in Bosnia and Herzegovina society with a special emphasis given on protection of the women, victims of domestic violence and promotion of the women’s human rights regardless of their ethnic, religious, and social background.
The power of “ZENA BiH“ are the women, being ready to initiate and actively participate in the positive social changes.
