Mission Statement

Terebinth Refuge is a Christ-centered shelter and safe home that brings hope, healing services, and freedom to sexually exploited and trafficked women.
While being "Christ-centered", Terebinth understands that the women we serve have been forced and coerced into doing things against their will to survive. Terebinth Refuge never requires women to engage in Christian programs and services, but instead provides a nurturing and accepting environment in which she can grow in her faith if she chooses to do so as part of her recovery. We value the uniqueness of each women, in her cultural, ethnic and religious identity, and provide women with individual opportunities for self-advocacy and personal growth.
