Mission Statement

RISE (Restoring Identities after Sexual Exploitation) provides a long-term, safe living facility to girls under age 18 who are victims of sex trafficking and/or commercial sexual exploitation. The residential program provides comprehensive and individualized services, mentoring, and advocacy to assist the youth in permanently escaping the world of the sex trade. RISE works closely with each youth it serves utilizing trauma-informed care to restore them from victim to whole, strong, independent, responsible adults.

RISE will fulfill its mission of restoration of minor victims of sex trafficking and/or commercial sexual exploitation by:
Commitment - Providing and encouraging pro-social relationships, strong interpersonal skills and instilling a sense of hope for the future
Responsibility - Empowering girls to become survivors, who are independent, responsible adults by learning life skills, encouraging recognition of the value of education & providing opportunities to follow through on commitments
Possibility - Expanding the perspective of the youth it serves to make them aware of the possibilities available to them in a life outside of and untainted by their past experiences in the sex trade
Support - Surrounding youth victims in a safe, caring, learning environment with people who pass no judgment and are invested in helping them create positive futures
Shelter - Where victims reside in safety away from their traffickers and from sex buyers
Counseling - Providing mental health services contracted with outside service providers
Education - Offering Online school, Homebound teachers, GED classes
