ACT Uganda's mission is to empower survivors, raise awareness, promote collaboration, advocate for policy reforms, engage in research and innovation, and transform the lives of young people and their communities affected by modern slavery .
We prioritize survivor empowerment by providing comprehensive support services, safe spaces, healthcare, legal aid, education, and vocational training. Additionally, ACT Uganda focuses on raising awareness through campaigns, training programs, and community outreach initiatives to educate individuals and communities on the indicators of human trafficking.
Collaboration and community-led solutions are integral to ACT Uganda's approach. They actively collaborate with local organizations, government agencies, law enforcement, and international partners to develop comprehensive solutions to modern slavery.
