Mission Statement

852 Freedom Campaign - an international abolitionist movement. The goal of the Freedom Campaign (or known as 852 Freedom Campaign in Hong Kong) is to mobilize ordinary people around the world to play an active role in fighting human slavery by using their skills and abilities to raise awareness, funding and new initiatives.

We have reached more than 25,000 people through over 55 events, several of them city-wide events, since March 2015 to December 2016. More have reached since then.

We want to see a movement of "passionate compassion" in action and mobilize ordinary people in being a voice for the voiceless in companies, schools and churches. Since December 2016, the baton of the movement was handed over to Chinese campaigners and NGO partners, both non-religious and religious groups, and anyone with a heart to alleviate the suffering of the enslaved. Since October 2017, we began a new phase of producing films and music videos on slavery and reports to reach a global audience.
