The International Labor Organization estimates that 5.5 million children are in forced labor worldwide. In 2014 alone, the NHTRC received nearly 150 reports of child labor across the United States. This fact sheet provides an overview of child labor trafficking in the U.S. by detailing relevant laws, presenting case studies broken down by industry, and exploring the unique challenges and service needs of youth.
