The Purple Door is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization headquartered in Corpus Christi, Texas. Our passionate and talented employees provide services at no charge to victims and survivors of family violence and sexual assault throughout a 12-county region of South Texas. We offer support and empowerment to individuals through a safe shelter, non-residential services/programs and outreach.
All services are confidential, free of charge and available to clients staying at the shelter and those residing elsewhere in the community.
Our agency is comprised of more than 40 employees, one administration building, a shelter, and four outreach offices. We service the following counties: Aransas, Bee, Brooks, Duval, Jim Wells, Kenedy, Kleberg, Live Oak, McMullen, Nueces, Refugio and San Patricio.
