The Villanova Law Institute to Address Commercial Sexual Exploitation leads cross-disciplinary workshops and discussions aimed at engaging the survivor community in the search for justice on April 5 - 6. Workshops will be led by survivors and will encourage participants to engage in problem-solving scenarios on a variety of relevant topics and current issues in legislation, law enforcement and education.
The event takes place on Thursday, April 5 from 9 a.m. to 4:45 p.m. and Friday, April 6 from 9 a.m. – 1:15 p.m. at The Inn at Villanova University (610 County Line Road Radnor, PA). It is open to the Villanova community and the public and is approved by the Pennsylvania Continuing Legal Education Board for 9 sustainable credits, approved by MPOETC for 9 CLEE credits and NASW-PA Chapter is a co-sponsor of this workshop. 9 CEs will be awarded for completion of this course. NASW has been designated as a pre-approved provider of professional continuing education for social workers (Section 47.36), Marriage and Family Therapist (Section 48.36) and Professional Counselors (Section 49.36) by the PA State Board of Social Workers, Marriage & Family Therapists and Professional Counselors.
