Human Trafficking is the fastest growing crime in the world and continues to be a serious growing problem in the Washington D.C. metro area. Every high school in the Fairfax County Public School System has had incidences of sex trafficking reported within their walls Join us as we hear the story of a survivor from Fairfax Virginia, who was trafficked in the Washington D.C. area and New York City, and from the law enforcement agent who heads up a human trafficking task force. Because of the nature of the content of this event, we ask that all participants be 21 years of age and older. When: October 7, 2017 10 a.m. - 12 p.m. Cost: Free Registration Required Where: Yuma Center4101 Yuma Street NW, Washington, DC 20016 RSVP by Oct 5 Info: http://www.yumadc.org/events/keep-our-girls-safe
